We finished our application to the Arizona Adoption Agency last night and mailed it in today with our first (albeit small) financial commitment. So, we have officially begun!
The next step is that they will assign a social worker to us and we will have an initial meeting with her. We also have to get fingerprinted and pass various background checks. We're clearly not stressed about passing the background checks but it just takes time.
So woot! We're excited!
Yeah!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting. Can't wait to meet your precious little ones some day.

Congratulations! I just came across your blog when Googling "snowflake adoption," and I'm so glad that I did. My husband and I have long discussed doing EA as an alternative to traditional infant adoption. We have been TTC for about 2-1/2 years with no luck. We've pursued infertility testing and have done Clomid cycles and two IUIs, but cannot do IVF for religious reasons (we're Catholic). I can't wait to read about how your journey progresses. I will keep you and your husband in my prayers!
ReplyDeleteYAY!! Congratulations!!
