Ultrasound Update
:) Baby is still measuring 3 days small but that's exactly the same amount of "smallness" as last week, so at least the rate of growth is consistent. Baby was 8mm now and the tech didn't have to struggle at all to find him or her. The genetic parents are small people so it's not out of the realm of possibility that this will just be a small baby. Heart rate was 131, which is good and right on track ;D
It was a bittersweet ultrasound though. It did confirm that there is only one baby so we know we now have another one with Jesus. However, we are thanking God for the life of his or her sibling left with us! :)

Good Morning Baby! We are so happy to see you again!
ReplyDelete8 mm!!! I always have to pull out a ruler and look at that - I marvel at the miraculousness of it all!!! So tiny and so loved already! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteYou know, I am not experienced in FET by any means, but I would think that with all that those little ones go through before and after freezing is very unnatural in God's plan of creation and growth. I mention that to say that it would make sense to me that there very well may be extra days needed to develop in the beginning stages you know? I may be totally wrong on that, but I AM very excited to hear the HB # and see your little one! I mourn with you both and also with Sheila & her husband on the loss of your baby's sibling and will honor that little one through prayer in the days to come. I am hopeful and excited to hear the next positive report.
ReplyDeleteCongrats! What a beautiful sight :)
ReplyDeleteMourning the loss of your little one, but rejoicing that there is still one precious little one growing!
Oh Jen, I am so happy for you and your family! I couldn't say it any better than Lisa! Congrats!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that you lost one baby, but am so thankful to the Lord for allowing one to continue growing in your belly! I am loving following your pregnancy and am just so excited for you guys! :)
ReplyDeletePraise the Lord for a growing baby!!! That heartbeat must have been music to your ears! I also share in your sadness knowing that your other precious little one didn't make it. I love your care and concern for all of your babies and how you recognize their lives as well.
ReplyDeleteAs for growth, at our 11 week u/s, we also had a baby measuring 3 days behind. However, it was no issue to the docs and Amelia is now 2 1/2! Soooo thrilled for you, Jen!
