It is one thing to help a true Orphan. But we need to be very careful not to help create Orphans by coveting another woman's child. But I appreciate your input. People always need to guard their hearts against coveting what God gives to other people.Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13491687007971233290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7439109790681220541.post-52848044354540129612008-05-26T20:58:29.272-07:002008-05-26T20:58:29.272-07:00Truly, if you are not one who covets others childr...Truly, if you are not one who covets others children than my post is not directed towards you.I am just concerned when I have heard some Christian women speak of how more worthy they are to be a parent than others because they can provide 'more' things to a child. Some have become angry even when a Mother who had been considering adoption decides she can't bare to lose her child to adoption.I think that we as Christian women need to look into our hearts to see if our intent is pleasing to God.Many times all a Mother and child needs to succeed is a little help and fellowship. That can be a blessing and Ministry!reunitedmomLhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06996693403805937406noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7439109790681220541.post-39868289995904990512008-05-26T21:45:27.017-07:002008-05-26T21:45:27.017-07:00The temptation to feel more "entitled" t...The temptation to feel more "entitled" to a parent definitely does exist for infertile and adoptive women. On the other hand, I also encourage women who are not in our position (and I don't know if that includes you or not), to refrain from presuming to understand our hearts, minds, joys, fears and weaknesses. Truly I don't know any IF woman who covets other people's children all of the time. It may be a season God bring them through but as I shared, I think that envying God's plan for someone else's life comes in all sorts of journeys, not just IF. So as Christians we all need to be aware of our weaknesses and of ways the enemy could easily tempt us.Jenhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13491687007971233290noreply@blogger.com
